By accessing or using Percime Tools (the "Service"), operated by Percime Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Percime Tools provides free online document and image conversion tools, including but not limited to:

• PDF manipulation (merge, split, rotate, convert)
• Image conversion and compression
• Document format conversion (DOCX ↔ PDF)

The Service is provided free of charge and does not require account registration.

3. Acceptable Use

3.1 You May:

• Use the Service for personal and commercial purposes
• Process documents and images you have the right to modify
• Access the Service from any location worldwide

3.2 You May Not:

• Upload, transmit, or process any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or access restrictions
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service excessively
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload. We claim no ownership over your content.

4.2 License to Process

By uploading files, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when your files are deleted (within 1 hour of upload).

4.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to upload and process the files
• Backing up your original files before processing
• Downloading processed files promptly before auto-deletion
• The content and legality of your files

5. Service Availability

5.1 No Guarantee

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee that the Service will be:

• Available at all times without interruption
• Error-free or bug-free
• Compatible with all file types or formats
• Available in perpetuity

5.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

6. Disclaimers

6.1 "As Is" Basis

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6.2 No Warranty on Results

We do not warrant that:

• Conversion results will be perfect or error-free
• All formatting will be preserved during conversion
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PERCIME TECHNOLOGIES AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or files
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the Service
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to your files

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100 USD).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Percime Technologies and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload to the Service

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-uploaded files), is owned by Percime Technologies and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Privacy

11. Rate Limiting

To ensure fair access for all users, we implement rate limiting. Excessive use may result in temporary restrictions. Current limits are approximately 30 requests per minute per IP address.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
